Glenn County is primarily an agricultural community with mountains on the west, the Interstate 5 corridor taking you through rich farm land, and the Sacramento River bounding the east side of the County. With over 1,188 farms, agriculture remains the primary source of Glenn County's economy. It's also a great area for bird watchers and hikers.
The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is located in Glenn County, California, near the town of Willows, straddling the border with Colusa County, and is a key part of California's Central Valley wetlands for migrating birds. Its headquarters is at 752 County Road 99W, Willows, right in Glenn County.
