We love to see, do and learn and have done that on six of the seven continents.
We created this web site because it brings together so many of the things we enjoy in life. We've been married for 37 years and love to travel, see, and experience as much of the world as we possibly can. During our travels we take photographs of anything we find interesting about the places we are visiting. Our Travel/Destinations page on this site has detailed pictures of the various places we've visited, as does our YouTube site under John & Virginia's Videos. We didn't go overseas until we had visited Canada, Mexico, and all 50 states. The listing below is a list of our various vacations. We will have been on six of the seven continents once we complete our South America trip in 2027.

From 1989 to 2006 we visted all of tthe United States, Mexico and Canada. North American Continent.
In 2006 we went to Italy and Sicily. European Continent
In 2007 we toured England, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
In 2009 we toured Germany, Czech Republic (Czechia), Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria.
In 2013 we toured England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
In 2014 we toured Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Morocco. African Continent.
In 2015 we toured Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
In 2016 we toured Western Canada:Banff and Jasper.
In 2017 we toured Eastern Canada: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
In 2018 we toured Poland, The Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and then Finland.
In 2018 we also toured Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece.
In 2019 we toured Australia, New Zealand No Island, NZ So Island and Fiji. Australia/Oceania Continent
In 2020 I went to The Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico.
In 2021 we took a tour of Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and back to California.
In 2022 we didn't travel because of the pandemic. We took some local trips.
In 2023 since the pandemic is still going on, we visited California Counties.
In 2024 we visited California again, enjoying lakes, wildlife areas, bypasses, and ocean retreats.
In 2025 we visited Iceland, Northern Italy and France.
In 2026 we visited Japan during cherry blossom season! The Continent of Asia
In 2027 we are booked to visit South America. Argentina, Brazil and Chili. South American Continent.
